Fiber mist eliminator for sulphuric acid

MANFRE Fiber Mist Eliminators provide a reliable highly efficient removal of submicron droplets and soluble particles from any gas stream. A wide range of different types and designs was developed to remove visible plume from any gas stream, to decrease droplet emissions, to increase the efficiency of production processes and to protect the downstream equipment from corrosion and fouling within the process. The fiber mist eliminator is composed of single or multiple defogging elements installed in the container or tank. When the gas containing mist particles passes through the fiber bed horizontally, the mist particles are trapped by the principle of inertial collision, direct interception, and Brownian motion. The demister will gradually condense into large particles or liquid film on a single fiber. Under the action of the air flow, it will pass through the fiber bed and discharge the bed under the action of gravity along the inner surface of the bed to achieve capture. The role of the mist liquid to purify the gas. Some fiber defoggers add a thick fiber bed downstream of the bed to promote liquid drainage and prevent mist particles from being entrained by the air flow. It can be interchanged with MECS Brink mist eliminators. Manfre candle type mist eliminator is more effective.

Particle capture efficiency:

≥3μm : 100%

1-3μm :99%

0.75-1μm: 96%

Manfre eliminator can be interchanged with MECS Brink
All mist eliminators operate in a similar manner. Gases containing mist particles are directed horizontally through a fiber bed. Particles collect on individual fibers of the bed, coalesce to form liquid films and drain off of the bed by gravity.
Manfre Mist Eliminators are adapted to particular specifications from a single filter candle to an entire turn-key project.
